Queens Academic Group offers two levels of Business English which, in common
with all our courses, are designed on a modular framework based on principles of
communicative competence and taught by task-based methodology.
Students
enrolling for either of these modules must demonstrate pre-requisite language
skills on our placement test before we can accept their enrolment in these
courses. A level roughly equivalent to an IELTS score of 4.5 (good
pre-Intermediate level) will allow entry to Business English 1, while the upper
module requires around 5.5 (good Intermediate level) for entry to Business
English 2.
Examples of the kinds of topics studied in this course include: |
 |
|
business communication meetings marketing banking globalisation leadership and
change management e-business public relations |
 |
|
In addition, students may elect to sit the internationally-regarded TOEIC (Test
of English for International Communication) at the Queens TOEIC test centre. |
