The National Certificate in Business (Level 4) is an entry level qualification for students seeking a career in business or a convenient starting point for further studies in the field.
It will provide you with a broad introduction to business studies along with an understanding of New Zealand's business environment.
People who have no knowledge of business or want to know how business operates in New Zealand will benefit from this course.
Upon successful completion of this course you will be awarded a nationally recognised introductory business qualification.

Entry Criteria: | General entry Completed 12 years of schooling in home country English Language Requirement: IELTS 5.5 Students who do not meet these requirements will need to sit the school entry test prior to enrolment. Mature age entry 20+ years of age and relevant work experience |
Tuition Fees: | NZD $7500 per semester NZD $1000 materials fee (only payable once) |
Course Structure: | 120 NQF credits distributed across 9 papers (see below) |
Course Duration: | One Year (full-time) Two semesters of 14 weeks each |
Credit transfer | Credit may be granted by recognition of prior learning or current competency. Student who wish to be cosndiered for credit transfer must submit original documents and may be required to complete the school challenge test to confirm prior learning. |
Certification: | You will have to pass all 9 papers (see below) to be awarded the national qualification. |
