to stay in Auckland and what does it cost?
A There are several options including apartments, houses, flats & hostels. The
usual and most popular form of accommodation is a home stay. Living cost depends
on personal taste but the average cost of living in Auckland is $ 180 per week.
It is important that you know your rights and responsibilities as tenant. For

Q What do students do on the first day at QAG?
A Students have to report before 9:30 a.m. at reception area of level 8, 246
Queen Street for the orientation. Students are advised to bring the following
documents to complete the enrolment registration
- A valid Passport
- Original Academics Certificates
- Medical & Travel Insurance (If not arranged through QAG)
- Two passport sized photographs
Q What are the attendance requirements?
All students must meet QAG’s 100% attendance at all times unless they have genuine reasons for their absence. Failure to do so could lead to a warning being issued. Continual breaking of the requirement could lead to expulsion.
Q Is medical insurance compulsory and how it is helpful?
A International Students must have appropriate and current medical and travel
insurance while studying in New Zealand. Southern Cross is our preferred
insurance provider. If you get sick, the student need to see the doctor first
and collect all the medical prescription and fee receipts from the doctor at the
time of the treatment. Then all the documents need to be posted to the insurance
provider to make a claim for the expenses
