About the Programme

The IT sector is growing significantly throughout the world, and the need for highly skilled staff is a significant challenge for this industry in NZ.

This Level 7 Diploma provides graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to fill the vacuum between the computer technicians and business managers who have limited understanding about the critical role of information technology in organisations.

Graduates of this diploma will be able to critically evaluate the IT capabilities of an organisation and provide vision and strategies to accommodate changing technologies to gain competitive advantage.

This programme is approved and accredited by NZQA.

Entry Criteria

  • Level 5 Diploma in Business/ Computing or Equivalent skills and knowledge
  • IELTS band score of at least 6.0 (Academic) with no individual band score lower than 5.5; or Under Special provisions IELTS overall 6.0 *( Student has to study an extra paper 469 Academics Skills for Business Studies in their first semester ) or complete the school’s entry test

    * Applications who have already studied the NZDipBus papers (530, 541, 560 & 636), will be able to transfer any or all of these credits (80) to this qualification.
