An estimate of living costs in Auckland

In order to live comfortably while you are studying in Auckland, you will need to have about NZ$15,000 per year available for living costs above the cost of your tuition. Food is relatively cheap, for example a litre of milk is $2, can of coke $1.50, bread $2.50, and butter $2.50 per 250 grams.
